Seems to work really well - never seen the solution with the Tamiya axle!
Did you need to narrow it?
How did you attach the Bruder wheels to the axle?

pictures coming tonight showing where all parts have been attached to the tractor
the tractor doesnt have a frame everything is based around the original bruder toy to simplify the build as much as possible

Not to bad on the conversion. I watched the video it seems to drive and steer pretty smooth. On ur next one I would use smaller geared motors and electronics. That way u can have more room in model for other functions.

Nice!
How did you get the spline into the rims?
I see some hot glue, but can't see how you did it.

How's the broom holding together? How many times have you swept the place?

does the 4wd work? I've been wondering how to gear the axles to compensate for the different wheel sizes.

You can use gearing and the gear doctor german site sells an esc to compensate for the differences.

motor for this is a 540 type motor with 1:50 reduction unit
the axle is a standard truck axle no modifications.
speed controller is a generic crawler type.

Hi Hitachi,

I'm new to this game and was wondering what is ment by a 540 motor and a generic crawler type? I'm not sure what is available to us.
Thank you for your help
