Finished suspension looks great - the angle cuts on the hangers look good IMO.... I like the bar between the bags nice 1:1 detail

Thanks Guys the compliments are appreciated.

Here is a small update, I have the fenders started. The front ones will need to be narrowed up but I will do that when I have the bumper on and I can line up the grill and fenders with the bumper.

Thanks for looking.
Travis

Continued great job Travis. Just like you said there won't be much if anything that's original Tamiya parts on it. Keep it up, nice, nice job!

No there wont be many stock parts but I have not done a real custom truck yet so I thought I would go all out.

Thanks Nate, I have wanted to do a sliding fifth wheel for a while and this truck just seamed like the right truck to do it on.

Thanks I might be tempted to form another set.

Here are a couple update pics. Two of the perfect visor Rod made me and one of the body work I started on the sleeper.

Thanks for looking.

That's a really nice visor. Did Rod step it up a bit? I don't remember any of his other visors having a radius to match the drip rails of the cab door like that. Perfect touch! The way it should be. I like that a lot.

Thanks Nate, I have never seen one like that from Rod ( Custom Drop Visors ) so I just sent him a PM with the pic of the truck I am using for reference and he made me one. I have about a dozen visor's from Rod and the have all met or exceeded my expectations. Maybe this will be a regular visor that Rod starts making.

Travis, this truck is looking great! Really appreciate all the details. Did you make the airbags from turned plastic or something else? Very cool!

Should have included in my earlier question: where did you get the springs for your air bags? Single or dual?

Thanks,

Looking good. I like your 5th wheel slider...I find I always need a little more weight up front for better turning when hauling heavy.

Travis nice work on the tractor and I really like that sun visor. It is very different the way it goes around the door edge, is that your design? Keep up the good work. Ed
