Default wiring incandecent bulbs

need some help on wiring i have 1.5 v incandecent bulbs 40 of them was wondering the best way to hook up and what voltage i can run to them being 40 of them thanks

You can treat the bulbs just like LEDs, so take a peak at this thread and see if it will help you out.

The link to the LED design array website, in that thread, can be used just as easily for incadescent bulbs, as it can be for LEDs. You just need to know the current ratings, the voltage source, and how many you want to wire up. With 40 bulbs, you'll be wiring them in parallel series, just like you would LEDs. You will be able to power more bulbs in series though, since they have a lower voltage rating, and polarity is of no concern with bulbs.
