Default how should i get started (canada)

i have recently found the community of scale R/C construction on YouTube and I'm looking to get in to the hobby myself so i wanted to start with an excavator and I'm looking for a good quality one around 1000$ dose anyone have any suggestions. also i live in western Canada and i was wondering if anyone knows of any meetups/construction sites (or what ever there called) in western Canada or possibly Washington state. Thanks

you can get an rc tractor like king hauler but a good excavator will be 3 to 5 thousand

Welcome to the forum. Check out Eagle machinery's ready to run 4200xl excavator. RC4WD sells it on their website. They are currently liquidating the previous 2.0 model. It's a good model to start with and get familiar with the hobby and you can customize to make it your own.

You can also order directly from Eagle machinery by buying from their store on Aliexpress. The great part is you can pay with paypal unlike RC4WD. Tang is a great guy to deal with just tell him to price match RC4WD on the 4200xl.

Welcome to the hobby!

What part of western Canada are you in? There are a few of us on Vancouver Island and we get together 2-3 times a year at truck shows.
