Default King Hauler

Hey guys , just wondering if anyone else has this problem with reverse on their King Hauler. In forward the truck can be started off slow or fast , but when I reverse the truck you better have lots of room cause it is full throttle . I added a dump box from RCP57 so the guy at the hobby store installed an HPI Racing esc and it uses the Futaba 2.4GHz S-fhss system. Otherwise its stock. Any ideas how I can slow it down would be appreciated, thanks.

Get a different ESC or re-calibrate the one you have..

X2. Sounds like you have an ESC setup for racing in a dump truck. You need to reprogram the one you have or buy something really cheap like the $10USD ones that Hobbyking sells. They work great for the truck and dump bed and don't break the bank either.

People think they have to have high end stuff for these trucks, it just creates problems. I too use the $10 dollar hobbyking esc’s . Haven’t toasted one yet. Also make sure your trims are set correctly, I have a habit of bumping mine.

I run old Novak's that nobody in racing or crawling uses any more. Dime a dozen on flea bay and work just fine. As Kent said, check your trims, they are easy to bump.
