As for the all thread you may try McMaster as I believe they have metric all thread in those sizes.

Looking good and can't wait to see more.

Thanks Tyler. I'm going to need a servo with a little bit longer shaft on it as well. I assume they have those?

Thanks for posting and hope to see more

Mario.
I did it mostly for looks Mario, but I figured if I took the time to make a working steering box then I could also make the release handle move as well.

Thanks John... That depends on money... If I had some it would be soon, but in my case your guess is as good as mine.

Thumbs up Re: Classy Shak

This is very detailed work, Mike. If you need some help getting answers to some of your questions, I’d suggest asking Stu (a.k.a. Old Busted Hotness). He scratch built several different scale projects over the years, including a 53’ dry-van with sliding tandems and an International to pull her with. They were both very detailed, excellent replicas.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUVMMRkr9cc

It’s a good looking trailer. Keep up the good work and post pictures as you get more finished.

Just a little update.

I got the linkage for the fifth wheel finished. While I don't have a servo for it yet, when I move the rod by hand it works perfect. and the best part... Ya can't see anything non 1:1 when looking at the truck.
