Default 45ft bottom dump wip start

I haulted work on my lowboy for a 45ft bottom dump. Its still a wip but The frame is freshly coated with etching primer and the hopper is mocked up with cardboard right now lol. Im hoping to have it finished by the weekend..thanks for looking.

What is the trailer built out of?

The frame is built out of milled aluminum to look like a boxed frame and when its finished the hopper will be made of sheet aluminum

Oh and i forgot to mention that in that pic everything is just taped or just sitting there waiting for final paint and then to be assembled

Default bottom dump progress

Its still not a whole lot to look at but i have a bit more done and seeing how i take painting really slow it has the first coat of red on it. I still have 5 coats to go then i have to do the suspension air lines king pin lights etc. Also im to figure out how i want to make the trap doors function...tips and hints will be appreciated...thanks for looking

Lmao yea its a special tool...it also makes your gf angry when she cant find it in the kitchen lol



No i use bondo and i use the the grader for large areas to save time on sanding lol

I like this trailer, and you're doing great. But I have to ask...what is the gadget with the guitar hero guitar buttons? I know curiousity killed the cat, but I need to know. LOL!!!

Thank you. And yea lol in the first pic the etching primer did give off that impression. Lol i even said that to myself after i sprayed it....tha cardboard mauch ip parts didnt help
