Really nice job on that truck Scott! The rims look great. You definitely have the talent needed to turn those rims. The cuts looks really clean and smooth.

About what era did the Tonka truck come from? I'm kind of surprised it's in such good condition. When I was a kid, I was hard on some of my toys! They were lucky if they survived without dents, or busted out plastic windows!

Thanks Larry!

Thanks Nathan, This particular tonka body was made from 1965-1967. They are made of fairly heavy steel, about the same thickness as full scale car bodies from those years so, they hold up well if they aren't left out in the rain. I really like the ones that were made from 1958-1973. The built in visor in the roof is a nice touch on this one that is hard to notice at a glance.

Wish I still had my Tonka trucks, they sure were built well. What size are the tires, and where do you get them ?
