Default 1:10 Scale articulated Dump truck Plastic.

Although it says 1:10 scale, is it true? Wonder if the body parts can be reused for a project?
Size:40cmx13.5cmx13.5cm

I'm quite interested in an articulated hauler body parts model too. I'm thinking of doing one as my next project.

But this model looks a bit small. If the length of the model is 40 cm, then at 1:10 scale, the original would be 40*10 = 400cm = 4m. I don't think an articulated hauler with that appearance could be as short as 4m. The smallest CAT, the CAT 725C2, has a length of close to 11m.

So maybe a scale of 1:20 or 1:25 is more accurate for this model?

I also found this, which looks like the same one, but this one is listed as 1:28 scale.

I wish Bruder had an articulated hauler model. :-)

Good find! That 1:28 is the same as that so called "1:10 scale", which is why I was also questioning the length 40cm.
Too good to be true. It would have been a fun project indeed if it was 1:10 or better yet closer to 1:14

Yeah, it's something like 1:25 scale. One can just not trust the scale given when it comes to many Asian toys..) The guys that design an produce them knows, but the sales people often wants to 'brag', pretend that models are bigger then they are)

About a year ago I contacted Bruder asking if they had any plans to develop an ADT. They sent a reply saying they had no plans to do so. Maybe if all of us on this forum and other rc construction model forums, as well as parents of kids interested in construction toys or adults that collect construction toys, would send requests for a 1:16 scale ADT they would consider doing so. I would like one to convert, as there is no way I can afford one of the production rc models available.
