Default Trailer axles

Hi Guys,

Been having trouble finding some tamiya trailer axles at a reasonable price, so, I thought I'd have a go at making some. I have a lathe and pillar drill, along with numerous hand tools, and have been scratch building a couple of trailers of late. One has a Bruder "Joskin" trailer chassis on it at the mo, but, I want proper wheels on both trailers, hence my need for suitable axles.

So, can anyone tell me if the trailer axles for the tri-axle Reefer are the same size as the axles on the twin wheel trailers? and could someone let me know the length of the axle case ( not the shaft length ! )

Thanks in advance !

Will post up some pics of the trailers soon !

Default Re: Trailer axles

Well, it has taken me three hours and one minute to realize that I can answer this question myself by taking the front wheels off my rig and measuring the axle !
