Hey all,
a week or two ago i was reading the forums, and came across a thread where someone changed the plastic tamiya gears in the three speed trans to all metal,,someone in the posts asked if he was going to use some other metal parts to completely rebuild id...i cant remember what the "extra" parts were, but im going all out on this first build and i want to change out the gears and would like to find out what that extra pieces were.

It might have been my Cascadia build that you read that. The extra parts were the shift plates to go with the brass gears.

Here's a link to the thread I think you are talking about: http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...ead.php?t=8923
