Default Mfu-01 with 65 turn motor

Hey Guys
I'm have a weird problem I'm hoping I can get sorted out with your input. As the title says I have the mfu-01 with a rc4wd 65 motor in it. What is happening is in reversing in 1st or 2nd gear if there is any resistance at all it powers out and won't keep going. Like if I turn the wheels it powers out. But in 3rd gear it'll spin the wheels if you push against it. In the forward gears it seems fine. Thanks in advance for the input

from memory without a trailer on(or the coupler switch shorted) the mfu limits the power in first and second... And I think reverse...

The 65 turn motor simply won't spin with the lower volts/amps... I think...

I think I got something sorted out I hooked the coupler switch up (J-12) and now it seems to be working. It goes almost to good in reverse now haha. Thanks for the reply apfubar.
