Default Scania R620 8x4*4

My first custombuildt truck, a Scania flatbed with dollie and trailer.

I started to buy two flatbedtrailers to make one longer.

It is 90cm or 35.4in.

The us look of the flatbed doesn't work for a euro style truck so it had to be changed.
Standard.

This is what it look like now.

I made some side protection to make it road legal.

The dollie is filled with batteries and electronics from Servonaut. Unfortunately i didn´t take much pics on the dollie build. It's just the back half of the frame to the 620 kit.

A few pictures showing the difference between my trailer and a standard flatbed.

I needed to make the wheelbase a little bit shorter.

To the truck

An almost finished frame, a bit longer than the standard Scania 470.

I changed the servomount so it will be like the us trucks, that is so much better.

Because i have steering on the rear axle i have to have a servo thier to.

Battery holders and fenders are in place, i have two batteries on this truck.

I have no idea what these parts are called in english, in Sweden we just say VBG wich is the manufacturer.

Because this is the King of the road it had to be the Topline

One of the first test to see how long it would be, it is 170cm or 67in.

Looking good, will the 4th axle be steered from first axle or with an seperate servo?
The VBG is a company manufactoring trailer couplings and drawbars. They are among the biggest on market today.

Thanks!

The 4th axle have its own servo and shuts down when i lift the axle.
I now very vell what VBG is, i use their products every day at work. Didn't think it was called coupling and drawbar, it was little too easy

Unfortunately not: (This VBG went down after a short time so I switched to a Wedico made instead. It has art: No 422. http://www.wedico.de/eng/zubehoer_fahrgestelle.asp
Gardentrucking may have it?
