Thanks for the comments Nathan!
I thought of all the problems and mods that I would have to do to get it in this truck.I will probably add a mfu,and that wont happen if I put in the cat.

The fenders are easy to do......just make multiple cuts around the edge, and
cut it away from the hood starting at the back all the way up to the light bucket. Then heat the fenders to shape!

I will sell you the cat and radiator if you want it!

Ouch! Chip that filler off and it would be ok. But it would probably take as much time as it would take to work the fenders on your other shell that already has the perfectly formed top to the hood. Not a criticism in any way of your brother's efforts - my build has had filler like that applied and removed several times over! Learning as I build. Means it takes twice as long!!
p.s. I spy a unibilt pete taking shape in the background, nice! Your workbench is a regular assembly line!!

There is nothing wrong with bondo, but he laid it on so thick that I just wanted to start over.

Yes I have a pete in the works in the background......between all of my other
hobbies!

small update!
I got it primed,installed headache rack,and added Brian's pre-cut deck plate!

I'm not so sure on the rack mount....does it look ok,or do I need
to come up with something else?

Was the original mount too high? Maybe just add some diagonal bars like the original setup, maybe that's what's missing from the current mounts. Looks good anyway, deck plate is cool.

Thanks guys!

The more I look at it the more I hate the mount......it's gotta go.
The stock mount is to high, but I may try something else.

I am finally getting around to a small update!

I decided to drop the lift axle and shorten the frame, and have been working on my headlamps.I have not had much time lately to work on my trucks, but
sometime is better than no time!

I have a lot of filling and sanding to do,but thought I would throw some pics in.
The car in the background is a hint at what my next project will be.

Looking really good, Troy. I was happy to see an update to this build. Hoping to see even more, soon! I have no clue what 'seminol' is, but are you building a drag car hauler or something?

Wow! What a beauty. Shortening the frame was a good decision.

Thumbs up!

Cheers
