I set up my account with the plastic supplier today and ordered more stock including styrene so I guess I will put the trucks on hold for a while to get the lowboys up and running.

Travis what does the goose neck going to look like? What I am thinking is put 3 of those beams close together and do away with the outer ones you have now then with a quad axle and if it will hold 70 or 80 lbs and is long enough in the center to carry my excavator I'd take one. That way I'd have a beam trailer just drop the goose neck drive the excavator on top of the beams block it up chain it down and when I pick the trailer up with the goose neck I will be off. Let me know wat you think. Ed

Ed I am going to see how these are going to work before I decide to try and make one for someone else.

I made a little progress today and made the necks for the trailers and one is almost functional. Here are some pics.

Thanks for looking

Travis

Thanks Merit the list is starting to get fairly long but my problem is what is one worth with a working neck.

It will lift more than the trailer will hold.
