Sweet....I wish I could do heavy haulage. My dad used to drive for a large heavy haul company out of new jersey here call Joe Supor and sons. All yellow and black Pete's. My dad hauled the contaimanted water and toxic waste from the three mile island nuclear reactor meltdown. In a huge cylinder that was 14 feet tall.

If you ever need a plce to drop a dead rock truck, you can swing it by my place. I would love to operate one and it just so happens the hubby is a CAT mechanic so he could get it going again..lol...You've got quite the job..

Yeah dead rock truck, took 6 guys, 3 winch trucks and s**t load of curse word to get it loaded! Took us 3 days, pull it out of the back 40 in 3 ft of mud, every day mechanics had to pump air back in some tires and represurize the hyd. shocks. 2 days travel and 2 hrs with a D10 to yank it off. It sat for 3 years they were gonna bury it but someone bought it out of Venezuela. That was a very lucrative job since I charge out per hour, in my world chaos is cash.

I know what you mean, I just wish there was more hauls that paid what they are worth. I hauled oversize boats up and down the east coast and it paid well when I ran but, there are so many that run for less than it's worth. Luckily i did not depend on that part of the business, it sat more than it ran. Now I want to sell everything that needs insurance and registration and has more than six wheels...I like the terrain you get to run on, looks peaceful.
