Default Tamiya Farm King

Hey everyone, If you want to get a look at something completely new from our good friends at Tamiya, head to tamiyausa.com and search on Farm King. It looks kinda goofy to me as it is basically a wheel standing farm tractor, but I have to give them a big thumbs up for thinking outside of the box. Maybe somewhere in the future they would make a serious tractor kit something similar to the big rigs. One can always dream!

Well I do agree its ridiculous looking, it is definitely a move in a different direction from the normal drift cars, rally cars, monster trucks and road racers with zero scale detail. Hopefully tamiya will do there own scale construction/equipment line to go with the tractor trailer line. One of the big manufacturers has got to realize that the scale builders are growing in numbers extremely fast. They can't ignore us(or our money) forever...lol

lets hope so, a scale line of construction/heavy equipment would be like a dream come true...stop it already with the re release kits, and the renamed tanker trailers already.

I know when they released the "Wild Willys" years ago I bought one and had a riot with it, it was just fun to drive! This looks like it will be the same. Might just have to have one.

Tamiya rarely thinks outside the box..This looks extremely similar to the Tamiya Wild willy chassis.. Body/tires may have changed, but the chassis is most likely the same

It is not a similar chassis it is exactly the same.

Tamiya does this a lot the Juggernaut and the Mammoth dump truck use the exact same chassis. The sand scorcher and fast attack vehicle. The high lift series of trucks. It is a lot easier and cost effective to reuse the same chassis.
