Yeah I was wondering how long it would be before you'd say that! the nice thing about it is all that stuff are parts and tools I'm using for this build where as before it was spread all over the place and I'd have to get up and walk around looking for it.

Thanks Mario! Maybe someday if they let me back in Canada I can come play in the pit! You said you'd hire owner operators

I feel your border pain! Funny you mention it because just today I found out it's going to cost me 2,500 to get a company to file for a waiver for me to get into the U.S. .plus the 580 for the U.S. government . And then only good for a year or up to 5 years and then pay it all over again!
What a great system we live in eh?

Sorry to disrupt you awesome build thread, just scary how you mention border woes the same day I find out about mine

Wow they probably got terrorists and just plain weirdos running back and forth and they give someone like you a bad rap, that sucks. When I was in my late teens early twenties (read stupid) my parents lived in Canada and I stayed in the states and had a couple uncomfortable crossings. Never been back. Hope you can get it fixed so you can come back to Indy!

The build is going slow, its details details details . I tried to get some paint work done before the cold set in since I paint in the garage and it's not heated (yet) . I really suck in the paint department anyway .

The metallic grey will be cab and dump body color.

Thanks Jakyat, here are a couple pictures showing the inspiration for the build and the color scheme.

Thanks Chris, I'm on rear suspension 2.0, the first one ended up with no tire clearance especially in an off road situation. 2.0 will be similar to a Hendrickson "R" series. Hopefully will have pictures in a week or so.

WOOHOO IT's SITTING ON IT's OWN TIRES!
I'll post pictures tomorrow, using a brand new camera, haven't down loaded them yet so that ought to be fun.

Photos of Rear Suspension 2.0. I still need to make the longitudinal and transfer torque rods and mount brackets, finish cleaning up parts and paint but its finally on its own feet!

Don't pay attention to the date stamp on the pictures, new camera and obviously haven't figured it all out yet.

Thanks for looking!
