Been busy working but had some time to help design some 3D spoke wheels. These are a preliminary test design. Few more adjustments and they will be a boot on and go wheel. Also We were unsure of the strength with 3D plastic....so far so good. They are strong and plenty fine for normal use...time will tell how they hold up in off road use....they have dimples where the wheel lugs go and you can drill and tap for a 2mm or smaller stud/nut... Thinking we may make a plug cap to hide the nut or just use a chrome snap cap for a hub cover. It really will look the part when done. rears will be next.

I know most people like aluminum budds but this is kind cool to have old school wheel options.

Also got some new MACK emblems Installed

Thumbs up brings back to many memories, of the 70's when I was learning to run a dump truck, and the reason I went over the road to get away from them...LOL If you are a big guy they were not fun to drive...

had some nice weather today (45*) sigh....

Here is a quick vid of it running around the yard with 3 bricks in the bed. it did pretty good for the wet grass/mud my front yard has with all the melting snow.

Thumbs up Re: Mack R model ten wheeler dump

I got to thank Lmackattach for letting me drive this at the RT&C Mid-west spring meet at Eli feild last weekend. Not only does this truck look good it is fun to drive, goes through anything, the bed speed is great, it"ll haul what ever you put in it, 2 hours disappeared off the clock just having fun with it! However you really shouldn't let a first time loader driver (RC anyway) load it, I almost ripped the cab off with the bucket which is when I told them to take the radio away from me .

grind out under the door sills and cave in the roof add all around rust
and that would be an exact replica of the r model I use to drive

being 3D printed, did you have to sand it down to get rid of the stepping look from the printer?

Glad you had fun. I agree the old truck was pretty good out in the off road.

A single axel dump truck with locked axel would be a beast. It will have more traction than a tandem would.

Old dogs rust away before they give out.
