Thanks Joe. I think for the price I will run a Sabertooth as well. I have them in all of my other scratch builds so it keeps it simple and I haven't seen much in the $70 range that works as well for these things.

Thanks Jason, It definitely looks squished with logs!lol

Hey Reg, take a look at this sound module? http://www.beier-electronic.de/model...-rc/usm-rc.php

I used google translate to get English. Scroll down and click the various engine sounds.

Cheer's, Neil.

Great work Neil, I never heard of this place before http://www.strikemodels.com/products/speed-controllers/ and reading the Blog area, the company just move to Washington, so that's just a short hop for you Reg.

I just phoned in my order for four Viper Marine 15 esc's, then they'll send me a PayPal invoice via email. They said they have them in stock & will be going out today.

It's been a couple of weeks since I've really accomplished much on this but today I did a little more to the trailer axles and finished up the radiator louvers. At least the rad doesn't look like it's missing anymore!

Thanks for lookin!

A worthy addition to the KW 850, Reg. I like it. Are those radiator shutters? If so, are they going to be functional? Just kidding!

Haha! Yeah they're "supposed to be" shutters. I'll leave the functioning shutters up to someone like Ari! It's cold up here in Canada anyway Eh! Might as well leave them shut!

Good detail, how far away from paint are you?

What cars do you have covered up there Reg?

Haven't looked into the module yet Neil. It looks like it might work though.

Ben, 85 Chevy S-10(had it since I was 16, far from stock), 2000 Cavalier Z24, supercharged + a few other things.

The 850 almost has some peeps. A little more cleanup work on them to do yet though.

Thanks for looking!

I haven't done much with the vehicles the last few years...something else seems to have taken over all my free time and money It is nice to take the truck out for a trip down memory lane every now and then though When I started building toys I thought it was great because they didn't take up much space and they were much cheaper to build. Now that I have a few I've realized that I was wrong! My shop needs to get bigger or something needs to go...

The shutters are made out of...well um, shutters. Sort of anyway. I took a couple of strips off of an old plastic window blind and trimmed them down. I figured that it already had a bit of a curve so I thought I would give it a try. I think it turned out OK and the best part is that it was free.

Headlights are looking great, Reg. You seem to have a knack for making nice parts with your rotary table. Makes me want to buy one and give it a shot. Does it take some time to get the knack of one? Or is it as simple as calculating everything out, from the center of your radius?

Calculating What's that?lol I think it's pretty easy with the DRO on my machine. It's definitely a handy piece to have. Mine didn't come with indexing plates so it takes a little more care and attention when doing bolt circles. I guess I could do them with my DRO but the rotary table works just fine. I finished up the lights yesterday but didn't take any pics. Maybe later today when I get home from work.

Finished fitting the headlamp assembly today. I'm not sure if I will put lights in these right away but they are set up to do so.

Does anyone know where I could get a set of Kinghauler clearance lights? I need 5 of them.

Thanks
