Rob,
This has got to be your best and most impressive build to date

You need to get some pics of it next to the real thing. Please let us know what the people at the Cat factory think of it.

OH ya, PLEASE don't break it before Indy!! I really want to see it run!

Thanks Joe,
I take notes form the best. I have been doing some field-testing before I finally release it. Tweeking a couple of things to make it a lil more durable.

Thanks Trucker47. was a long project, but i'm pretty proud of the outcome so far.

What do you cover the wood with?, Bondo, gel-coat?

Hammer, I should be putting the step ladder on today and she will be finished......WHEW!!!!

Cbazq271, To prep it, i used a balsa filler called Hobby-Lite. The filler is easy to use and contours very well. That sealed all the cracks and holes. I used a wood sealer/primer for base coat, then the Cat yellow........oh i almost forgot, 1st thing was to sand, sand,sand, sand up to and including the primer.

WOW I too thought the first few pics were of the 1:1 for comparison sake. You nailed it. Great Job.

Rob, Your grader build is awesome and knowing how it was built is amazing. Great work from a very skilled builder. We need one more picture though, you standing proudly beside it so we can see how big the model actually is.
