Last couple vids I made I used my IPhone 5s, resolution much better than my 6 year old GoPro & file size nearly cut half... I'm getting to that age in life that I dislike change & falling behind in technology haha

I for the older videos used a Cannon Power Shot ELPH180
For the newer vids I use a Sony HandyCam.

I think I may have figured out the picture window issue. I have a few of the new vids that are in the tiny window format to get through first, as well as a few older videos. Once they are all posted, I'm optimistic that the picture windows will be full size.

Yes sir, very busy.

This lil project that just came out of the shop. This took a few weeks to build in my spare time. We needed a sheepsfoot, or other roller/compactor to help with all the new roads we've been building in RCland. It weighed almost 28# without the axle, drawbar, or 2nd endcap welded on it. I didn't weigh it after it was finished, but I'm sure it is over 30#

I tested it with the wheeled loader, & it puled it around just fine, even in the grass. I DIDN'T think to get vids of the testing process. :(

With the warm & dry weather we've been having, I've been working a LOT. I haven't been on this forum in a while. I have a few projects that have left the shop to be put into use in RCland, as well as at the various events PNWSTE has traveled to this year. This is the latest to leave the shop. A set of log grapples for the wheeled loader!

I FINALLY got some video of the sheepsfoot doing it's thing in RCland this weekend. Hopefully I'll have time to get it edited, & can post it soon.

HAPPY belated 4th of JUlY to everyone. Here's a little video that we did over the long holiday weekend. We did some blasting at the PNWSTE sand & gravel mine, before heading to a fellow PNWSTE members house to do some work.

Log stacker attachment has impressive abilities.

The log trucks are sweet. I love remote the truck-stacking crane.

I was half expecting the explosives at the beginning to be chained together to drop a wall of dirt. Nice start of a fire pit

Thanks Frizzy for the kind words.

The explosives I wanted to fuse together, but I didn't have enough fuse to do so.

It was GREAT fun last weekend in Duncan B.C. Canada! It was a pleasure to meet, in no particular order, Lou, Kim Greg, Reg, Steamer (Having memory troubles with his name) & the guy with all the Bruder conversions. Mike I think his name was. I'm poor with remembering names. :(

Here's a little video footage of the FUN times that were had with these folks last weekend.

Wow, very cool show you guys were invited to!

I didn't know anyone had made an rc 'Yarder'. All the other equipment was great too

Frizzy, it was a BLAST! I'm anxious for next years event. The weekend after the Duncan show, we went to the local ATHS show in Tacoma Washington, unannounced. The event coordinators loved it so much, they offered us a place at that show next year.

RcLogger made the Yarder. Between all the guys, they have some amazing RC equipment. It was a pleasure to see all the Canadian guys & their equipment first hand. I'd seen it in videos, but nothing compares to seeing it in person.

This weeks PNWSTE video is some footage from our March gathering. Hopefully the video quality is still as good, or better thatn the Canada video.

Some video from PNWSTE's September gathering. This is the FIRST 4K UHD video that we've shot. As I was editing the video, I DIDN'T notice a difference in video quality. It was ONLY after I posted the video to YT, & watched it at a friends house on his TV set that I was able to see the difference. Unfortunately, the weather here in Washington State won't be allowing us to film much if anymore this year. As soon as the weather allows us, we'll start filming in 4K UHD. I do have enough videos from this years events to continue to post weekly video updates..........................so long as the weather allows us to resume filming by mid March 2020!

Here's the link to the video.

I shouldn't have tried to persuade you about what way you should try to do that Ladder truck conversion. It appears i was wrong.

LOL! I still haven't touched that truck. One of these days, it'll move up the priority list. Too many projects, too little time!

Frizzy, Thanks for inspiring this video! I seen where you made tiedown straps using only wire & ribbon. I tried your method, but I couldn't get the wire bent just right so that the straps held. After thinking a bit, & came up with a way to make straps that functioned for me.
