Been a long haul on this one but really close to being complete, scratch built, all steel, built from pictures of the original, 1910 Big Four Tractor. Fred

Is that a working platform on the plow?
And the front wheel is an automatic steering aid?
Very neat - haven't seen this before!

Jens, You got it right on both accounts, the steering chains are connected directly to the cable that runs around the guide wheel pivot. The guide wheel drove down the dead furrow and would guide the tractor. This would free up the operator to attend to the Tractor and plow. Being that this is a 1910 model tractor there's few to be seen but there are a couple on UTube. Fred
