thanks everyone not quite done yet but will be posting soon. chikn truckn thumper i got the fenders from snp who no longer sells on this forum i see in the vendors section..been trying to get a few more but no answer

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/...ps37f09356.jpghere is an updated picture of my optimus so far.i have since added the peterbilt steps on optimus and the proper bumper with the 15 visored lights and the guide poles and the headache rack arrived and i just attached it with plastic ties but i am getting my local machine shop guy to make some actual scale u bolts to attach it like the real one is and i have put in the cab roof visored aluminum light housings the truck is now gone to my good friend to install all of the blue l.e.d.s.

Man, this truck turned out sweet! Paint looks awesome, and so do the correctly detailed parts, like the bumper, grille, and headache rack!

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6210d9b0.jpgthe l.e.d. headlights are hyper brites and they are equivilent to the h.i.d. headlights in scale.my other good friend tuan(pronounced ton)from another forum and local to me is the genius who is awesome when it comes to l.e.d. lights has done this beautiful job on my optimus prime you see here its not quite done but it is sure on its way to being done ...woo....hooo

**** thats looking sweet. Ive got some warm white leds for headlights, most tend to be a cool white that has a blue tinge to them. The warm whites tend to the slightly yellow end of the spectrum, which helps to differentiate them from all the blue leds.

That's awesome. Sometimes I like the warm white LEDs for headlights, and sometimes I like the cool white LEDs. In the case of all the blue marker lights, I'd almost say warm whites would stand out a little more on the headlights.

thats true but the phone cameras don't tell the true story of the picture.i prefer them to be bright just like on the real truck .i am sure in person they look different...time will tell...i pick it up tomorrow minus the side lights

Cool picture! Optimus Prime looks really great, and so does Motormaster, although why does Motormaster have bigger 'pipes' then Optimus? :D
