 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

Michael Bay should be shot. I could accept the Peteerbilt Optimus Prime instead of a CoE, but this monstrosity is apparently Primes new form in the 4th TF movie!

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

Thats fine but when there is a franchise involved and you deviate from the original ongoing characters sometimes it spells disaster. Especially the hardcore fans.would people still like bumblebee if they changed him into a smart car?I have to agree with bob on this i won't do this replica and i am sorry but that truck stands out like a sore thumb, and you would never see that as an everyday work truck that blends in to society. And for the record, lol i am going to build The Outlaw steel cowboy western.star with the help of rick(probuilder)yes another famous truck ;)

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

They could probably have gotten away with modernising the truck a bit, maybe update to a new 389, but keeping the details and spirit the same as the existing truck.
Or *shock* switch to a CoE, make it more classic! That would probably be a lot better recieved. Guess it came down to which truck company wanted the product placement. |

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

I'm sorry I just threw up in my mouth a little bit, this is a disgrace. I will always know prime as a peterbilt.

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

I personally don't think the trucks too bad, if you removed a bit of the flash and the god awful pipes it might be ok

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

Oh no! It's the western star "fart cab"! Seriously maybe it'll get smashed into a bazillion fiberglass chunks, Peterbilt all day 'erry day.

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

Speaking of Bumblebee, he's been changed too:
http://edge.alluremedia.com.au/m/g/2.../bumblebee.jpg They've gone retro with his design, why couldnt they go retro with OP too and give us the CoE we all want to see! |

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

my wife is p#$&^% off that they changed bumblebee..i am sorry but personally this is going to kill this franchise and i am going to become the new harry potter guy :lol:

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

Bumble bee got better, he's a real car now instead of that wannabe (no pun intended) version of a camaro.... New stuff sucks, kinda like that western star/prostar/giant turd with 6 pipes behind the bunk.....

 Re: Movie Optimus Prime build

Dang, Bumblebee turned into a SS Pro-touring Camaro? Prime should have become a COE Peterbilt Pacemaker, Kenworth C100, or one of those old Freightshaker COEs! From what I recall of my Hasbro G1 Optimus Prime, a Freightliner seemed to be best match for the look of the toy. For shame. I thought Transformers 3 was going to be the last one we'd see. Kind of glad they kept it going, but not in this direction....
