 Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

Well I guess i should load some more picks of my outfit..heres a few of the second machine I aquired... Its a Damitz O&K RH6 imported from Germany...First one to reach north america...As far as I know there are 2 more on the continent...This model has working hydraulic travel and swing motors ...Travel is quite slow and could use some modifacations..Performance is ok but having the swing motor does rob some of the flow to other functions. Anyway enjoy and thanks for looking

 Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

So a skidder is next on the list, eh Lou?
Nice work on the grapple & cab guard. Are you gonna add another valve for the grapple? The hyds sure are slow on that loader, eh? I just couldn't stand to run it no more after having the WA500. Where's the antenna and air cleaner? Do you have any BB's in your steer tires of the lof trk? Might help with steering in the soft ground. |

 Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

Good stuff Lou! Hmm, that Cat 966G cleaned up nicely. :D What did you use to fell the tree in the photo of the Deere excavator? Looking forward to seeing the skidder that must be going with the grapple. Or maybe a forwarder?

 Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

I always loved watching you modify your trucks for the logging industry. Hope the Cat 966 serves you well. Here I thought you bought a brand new one. Glad she found a new home. I still love that Deere excavator you built. Simply awesome.

Thank you guys .Im very fortunate to have the collection i have and to have the tools and skills to build them ...Ed I think that I get the most enjoyment from the the machines and parts i make especially when they work..
A few days ago we got a service call to work on some fire protection underground..Im a sprinkler fitter by trade .They were moving a broke down scoop with another and accedently pushed some tires against there sprinkler valve station in there shop...The shop is over 3000 feet strait down underground ...The first 1/2 hour was a little spooky...I will load a few pics ...Maybe joe might get some ideas for when the basement is done...lol |

I always like to hear that . within the past few months you probably didn’t see many updates to my site , ( except of videos posted to YouTube ) I was mainly busy with going to and organizing all kind of events . ( trucking , tanking , crawling ) And now finally I starting slowly to post all the updates from the past events . New builds are kind a on the back-burner , at the moment I do more internal improvements and upgrades. Keep up the great work ! |

 Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

Lou, That bridge looks a little light for the truck, trailer and the Cypress. That sure is a nice setup with your new trailer, nice work. Fred
