mfu problem
 
hi all I am in need of some guidance please ...when mounting the mfu in a grand hauler I have found that the wires from tail lights and from front servos are short ... I have hunted for a link about it on here but to no avail ...mr andersons mean and lean has helped but .. I still come up short ...any ideas :confused:

Simply cut the cable and add wire as needed. I do this all the time. Be sure to insulate the connections with tape.

If you are comfortable cutting and soldering you can buy servo extensions from your local hobby shop or online and I believe Astec out of the UK makes extensions for the MFC lights if not I'm sure you can e-mail him and he can make you some.

For the MFU I would use small servo extention cables and the lights I would cut and solder then heat sink the wires,

I just installed servo extensions on my stock Knight Hauler yesterday. Motor wires are just barely long enuff. I have the large speaker box which mounts the mfu toward the rear of the cab space.
