Why I bothered.....

Man, joined up to look for some relevant info, got my Email acknowledgement, and the site keeps wanting me to log in, answer the 'What RC means' question, tells me the page has reloaded since signing in, you name it: No searches have yet produced an answer, and frankly, I'm sick of it. I'm old & have been on forums for a couple decades, but now that they're dying it seems security is more important than being usable for members. WtF? I hate facebook, but at least they don't act like you're gonna single-handedly take 'em down. Thanks for nothing, whoever runs this dying place.

Well, you're here now. Atleast you aren't starting off with a horrible attitude for your first post.

"Radio Control"

'Radio control' or 'Remote control' were about your only 2 choices that make much sence for a site about something the FCC calls ''telecommand of model craft''.

There should be a 'remember me' check thing near your sign-in thing, or let the forum keep a cookie on your browser and not worry about the sign in thing again.

Um, i'll go 4 out of 10 rant. There's some passion there, but it kinda made me feel sorry for you instead.

Also i think part of the reason forums are going heavier on security now is because they're less popular. If average is 100-1000s of posts a day, it usually takes many mods to keep it civil. If average is 5-10 new posts a day, not much moderation needed. Then a mod who checks in maybe weekly notices some new spammer turned the board into the Cockopolypse, security seems to tighten...
