Low load step deck
 
Been wanting to build one of these for a while.

Well found some that will work fine,But!there wedicos.So first had to make some longer axle shafts.

You sure make working with stirine look easy. Those trailers must scrub the tires off easy with that long distance between them ?

Looks really good, Fred. You sure made some progress with that thing, despite being busy starting this forum up about the same time! None the less, it looks fantastic!

Wow! Great progress Freddy! I love that tractor too! My favorite!:D I got to get one of those center tail light mounts! Maybe a spoiler too, are that what those are called? I'm forgetting....:confused: Well looks great as always Freddy!:D -Trucker:D

Really great, as usual. When you step-cut the frame rails and bent the flanges to match the angle cut, how did you secure the flange to the rail...super glue, aluminum solder, other?

I really like this one Freddy, it's comin out awesome!!! It reminds me of a Doonan drop that i pulled a few times for an outfit i used to work for, It had the sliding rear axle and 17.5" wheels.

Say speakin of that sliding rear axle, as much as you like all your trick little mechanical bits and what not, you outta make that rear axle slide on this one, eh??:D

Hos1880,they where hollow tubes that I cut & threaded.
Well snuck in a couple of hrs & got the decking cut to length.
