Would anybody be able to get some detail pictures of a "Fair Shuttle" type of people-mover trailer?
The type i'm thinking of usually has a center isle so that an attendant could take money or check on people, and have outward facing bench seats on both sides that run down the length. Most of them have an awning with Fair info or promoting Sponsors.

Around here usually these are pulled in a Fair Train as a Double or Triple behind a Tractor. I'm guessing the chassis is setup something like a hay-wagon?

I said i was in 4-H, you knew eventually there'd be something about County or State Fairs...

I've seen them but but it seems like they were all different... I would think you could build one just about anyway you wanted to.

Most of the ones I've seen at fairs have been similar - but different. The ones I've seen have usually been on a converted wagon chassis with back to back bench seats and a foot rest that was a few inches off the ground. That made it easier to step on and off. They usually had a awning type of covering to keep the sun or rain off you as you traveled. Somewhere on the wagon would be a poster or banner displaying the name of the outfit providing the service. They traveled at a walking pace so you just got on and off when you wanted. Sometimes they would have a "Donations" jar so you could help out if you were so inclined.

You can always make it as a single wagon and say that you are making it safer to handle in a large crowd?

I figured they were really all just random 'home-builts' each venue or build shop came up with their own as needed. I'm just trying to get some ideas about how involved adapting some Ertl farm parts into one or two might be.

I was thinking something along these lines could be kinda fun to annoy the Truckers, i mean 'add diversity and crowd appeal to the layouts for meets & shows.'

Yup, no rocket science to it at all. They're just a place to park your butt and your feet. All you need is a basic frame to keep the butt, foot and back boards from sliding around on the wagon running gear. Anything else is just bells and whistles.

I saw those guys were charging for the ride. The ones that I've seen were freebies - with donation jars for when you were feeling generous.

Been working on getting broken equipment from some failed Carpet Farmers. The market for carpet has been pretty weak, and it's hard on machinery.

Then the barge wagon got a brass piece bent up that lets me pull doubles, so i shouldn't have to travel as much during harvest.

But best i can tell, it wouldn't really be much of a "Farm collection" without atleast 1 area full of "the old cr p that doesn't run".

I think i've reccently learned a new term that pretty well sums up what i've got going on over here: "Tetanus Farm".

Anyway, here's what i've got eased into that tree row behind the barn. The old nylint flatbed has a tree growing up through the cab, and the deere wheel loader its blocking, wasn't worth pulling it out just for a pic.

Maybe it's got busted axles, can't find tires anymore that fit, it's transmission let go, a tree fell on it, the engines all worn out, i let Beauford drive it 1 friggin time, well i always wanted one of them... Besides, we might be able to find time to fix it after the harvest, or over the winter, or during the spring rains, i mean, we'll get around to it, it's on the list.

Or maybe it's still a fairly new rig but the computer just doesn't let it run, since ya know Deere won't open source anything, and they quit carrying parts to fix it. .. Right To Repair.

As far as stuff with ''Actual'' plans:

The International Farmall 1256 (red with cab) has cracked & worn out steer axle, replace with a takeoff part, convert like Cockshutt
The Deere Square-fender Garden tractor has motors, needs a servo, and wagon cart for an RX and Battery
The Deere Gator should just need a set of gear motors, little servo, electronics
The Ford 7710 (blue) needs a front axle, i screwed it up pretty badly trying to make knuckles. Maybe brass wide, some stock ertl upgrade, tricycle?

Need to find some other 'walking dead' action figures. Thinking i need to put an old guy like Hershell or Dale in one of these

Prior to moving into a smaller place with NO workshop, I was working on one of them Gators. I found the 24th scale Axial fits decent enough as a donor chassis for this build. The suspension will maker er ride a wee bit higher than the original version! One of these days I might could get around to starting that build again.

So i wanted one, or maybe some kind of little ugly industrial cart, found this cheap.
A Gator seemed like it would work around the farm, or taking people out to parts of the construction sites

That Cockshutt must have one HELLUVA exhaust leak. Every time I forgot to take the can off the muffler of a tractor, it got blown off when the engine fired up.
