1/25 Scratch Built Models

Here are a few of my creations. All static 1/25 scale made from mainly plastic.

That's some fine craftsmanship! I think that's the first time I've seen a D4D modeled. I would like to get a real D4D one day. I have a friend who's brother made some really nice wooden models I think 1/16th scale. He's done a Cat DD9 and a 651 and others.

Wow, great talent. Are you molding these pieces or just using styrene or what. That knuckle buster (12E) is great haven't seen one of them in a long time and kinda glad of it. Keep up the great work.

They are made by hand from mostly styrene and whatever else I find that I can use. Takes a while but I enjoy doing it.

Those are all wonderful 1/25 scalers! I model mainly in 1/25 scale. My only entry here on this forum is my 1/25 crane, everything else I do in 1/25 is scratchbuilt or kitbashed plastic.

Do you work from drawings, blueprints, etc? Great work! Dan

These are very nice, to say the least. Have you ever thought of making them R/C?

Re: 1/25 Scratch Built Models

Thanks for the comments. No havent thought of R/C. I think they would be a bit light as only made from styrene so not enough strength. Size another problem as are 1/25.
Regards
Alan
