Regarding the 30mm or 50mm fan for the smoke unit. If it were me I'd go with a 50mm radial blower, like the kind used by 3D printers for filament cooling fans, instead of a 50mm axial fan. The radial blower will handle the higher back pressure you have in this system and the difference in airflow will be amazing.

Yes good point, I will look into them. May allow me to slimline the design so I can fit more/bigger batteries under the bonnet.

Thank you

Slimming things down can definitely happen.

If memory serves, I think the blower that I'm using on my 3D printer is about 15mm thick. The difference in airflow between a 40mm axial fan and a 50mm radial blower was like night and day.

FANTASTIC build! I love that you're 3D printing as much of it as possible. The display screens are fabulous! I wish I had more computer skills so that I might be able to do awesome stuff like this!

Yup, it sucks when life gets in the road of the really important stuff. The nice thing about this hobby is it mostly keeps you off the streets and out of trouble - well off the streets anyway.

Any updates? I know how it can be with some projects getting back-burnered. I've got several sitting on the back of the stove myself.
