That's my friend Larry's kid powered gravel screening plant and Sauerman Slackline cable excavator. That thing has been around a few years. My kids played with it when they were little. I tried to get him to bring it to Cabin Fever but he couldn't come down. It will be at the HCEA show I advertised this September.
Here's a video of it in action.

I saw the crusher and having no idea other than that and nothing to contribute, I thought (bad idea) a little weak humor would not hurt.

I meant no disrespect.

Wow, That is something else. Those kids look like they are having a ball. I want to play. Oh yeah and that screening plant is pretty awesome too. It must really be built well if it can withstand the abuse that a group of kids can put on it.

Wow! That's a fantastic set up.. and burn the kids out too! :D

Has your friend any interest in making it electric Steve?

How did he make the conveyer belting & is it spliced less? Beautiful work on the conveyers, it'd be great to see some up close shots of them. And as well to see how he design his shaker screen. :)

Re: What is...?

I've asked him to motorize it but since it attends all of the HCEA conventions, it has to be kid powered so they can play at the shows.
I'll be up there the beginning of May for his open house and I'll get some real close up shots of it. I always wanted to build one but my kids grew up faster than I work on these kind of things.
The belting is spliced like the real ones. It's just thin conveyor belting. The shaker has an essentric that's over driven to make it faster so not to tire the little ones. I didn't get a good video of the slack line Sauerman because the kid running it wasn't doing it properly. That thing is sort a like jumping on one foot patting your head and rubbing your stomach.

That does look a neat set-up. Kid powered or not. I think I could see myself hogging that from the youngsters. :D To bad there aren't more detailed photos of it.
