Walking beams for stock suspension

I was asked to make up some walking beams a few days ago so I came up with these.

I got these back from powder coating today. For those that have expressed interest in buying some, there is still uncertainty as to whether Canada Post is going to strike or not. There are other means of shipping these out but the cost is significantly higher. I will have them ready to go as soon as things get sorted out. If anyone else is interested please let me know and I will set them aside for you.

Thanks, Reg

Beside being able to haul as much as your axles will allow with these they look so much better than stock, the stock springs look so thin and out of scale. Great job.

Re: Walking beams for stock suspension

I'd like to ask you what kind of prop shaft are you using with your walking beams.
The reason I'm after this info is due to constant problems I've had with stock dog bone shaft and even short Hercules hobby shaft that are constantly popping out.
That said, I forgot to mention that I have raised my Scania R620 by ~10mm.
I think that walking beam approach will greatly reduce this issue, am going in correct direction?

Nice video.
By the sounds of it I assume that you are running SPI GRU too? Or some other GRU?

Is like to see the shafts if you have a picture of them.

Re: Walking beams for stock suspension

I've made up a more simple version of these that I can sell at a more affordable price. These ones don't have as much detail but I will sell them for $45USD a pair shipped vs $75USD for the original ones. If anyone is interested in them please let me know. These are a direct bolt on. No mods necessary!
