Leimbach cyclinders

Does anyone Know if the leimbach cyclinders can be rebuilt ...are they glued together and can they be taken apart?...If yes then how?

I've taken one apart before. I clamped rod side end cap in a vise just tight enough to hold it securely, but not distort it's shape. Used a small butane torch to gingerly heat rod side end cap to soften glue & with a screwdriver through mount hole on other end cap, twist back and forth till it starts to move, then unscrew.

Leimbach uses a two part piston seal, I doubt that'll need changing. The U cupped seal in the rod side end cap, don't know where to obtain that.

good to know Joe. I wondered how they went together.

I have asked you in the past but have forgotten, do you use compresser gear oil in your pumps ?
