morepower valve body

i got my v/body the other day and two of the three servos
were dead so a quick email and i got a reply from more power

Dear customer,

We will send you 2 of the servos as replacement.
Please kindly confirm your shipping address and we will ship the item via EMS.
Here's the address below:
(address was correct)
mastic beach, NY 11951
USA

Besides, please only use it with 4.8 voltage.Do not use 6 voltage for the valve.

if the kat runs on 12 volt then the rx drops the power down to the servos???
i ordered 3 new hy tec mg85 servos as the ones with the valve have no name on them

Re: morepower valve body

The rx doesn't drop the voltage down usually. For the most part it's the ESC that drops the voltage down from the 12v to 4.8v to 6v depending on how it's setup internally or programmed.

Older rx's that said BEC on them did drop the power but I haven't seen one of them in ages.

No your ESC or whatever you have providing the BEC to the receiver controls the voltage. More than likely the servos they sent you are tower pros. If you don't know the voltage at the receiver it might not be a bad idea to check it.
