hate to ask about other forums, but does anybody know whats up with scale4x4? they've been down for like 3 weeks.

I was trying to keep it quieter about linking to Another forum, about Another forum... but most of us seem to have found our way here from one of those anyway

I haven't been able to get on Scale4x4rc forum for about a while, sending me to a Database Error page.
Then the main landing page is a Joomla 'site unavailable' thing

Supposedly it's coming back, they're trying to get some sql issues resolved

It always seemed weird to me how some forums will get abandoned and live on as Zombies, some have a technical glitch and huge chunks are lost, and others just completely disappear from existance.

I really hope they get it straightened out and come back.

Scale4x4 is good ppl, ive been a contributing member over 12yrs... I too noticed the 404error couple weeks ago... forum owner said a couple yrs ago it was costing them $30-40/ month to keep it online & the traffic was way down, much like this place. It’d be good see it back online but I’ll understand if don’t.
