 JD 8430T

While awaiting for other parts to come in, I picked this lil puppy up in Sykeston Mo 2 wks ago. Had been looking for the one with the gel-tracks. I think it will work just fine.
	Enjoy! http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...212_183337.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...212_183324.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...IMG_0058-1.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...IMG_0057-1.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...t/IMG_0056.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...t/IMG_0055.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...t/IMG_0054.jpg http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h1...t/IMG_0053.jpg |

Awesome Rob! I have an older model, I looked at the insides and didn't see enough room for my talent of skills to fit. I'm sure you'll to a fabulous job. I managed to screw up my Challenger and just got my machined hubs from the machine shop yesterday.
Get back to work!!! Ben |

Looks great Rob. I had every intention of attending that show, but got tied up and couldn't get there. I can't wait to see it finished.

 Re: JD 8430T

Looking forward to this one, Rob, even if I'm more of a red machine fan. Those tracks look really soft and flexible! They 'ought to hook up good.

Awesome conversion Rob. Any room for a working 3 point hitch? Or any plans for a implement?

 Re: JD 8430T

the sabertooth worked just fine, thankfully
The gel-tracks are wonderful.........so far, i don't need sandpaper on the drive wheels. If it gets to 60 degress as the weather man promise this wknd, i will make an outside video all the electrics fit just fine........after alot of milling ut of metal. Had to use a 11.1 lipo 1230 Mah bat. (the short stick) You gotta get that challenger back working.....with all these new tractors, we could a mock dealership at Indy:D No room for a 3pt hitch, but i can put a port on it. Thanks all for the comments and looking. |

 Re: JD 8430T

I finally finished the Challenger. Ben |

 Re: JD 8430T

		Really nice conversion-I like it!!

 Re: JD 8430T

You make converting to RC look so easy! I really like the idea of a dealership display. But then you need a field so prospective customers can try the equipment. Does scale-sized seed really germinate in scale-time? So 90-day corn, at 1:16 scale = 5.6 days. You'd have to plant early the week of Indy so harvest could be done during the show?!? A well-done conversion.
