I am not sure about keeping them but they definitely give it a different look. Thanks for looking. Travis |

 Re: Orange Pete

Looks great I like the way the lip on the fender sits on top of the bumper. The bumper really looks good.

 Re: Orange Pete

I have to agree, the bumper really gives your ride a bad attitude...As George thorogood say's...wait for it..."BAD TO THE BONE"!!!
You should keep the fenders, they're different, and that's what it's all about.;) Keep us posted. Big John |

 Re: Orange Pete

I really like it Travis, the fenders add an extra touch (they remind me of a legend race car).
I can't wait to see the finish product tomorrow morning. =) Ben |

 Re: Orange Pete

Yuuup. There are more and more orange truck surfacing. I was hoping to get my Pete repainted in a Burnt Orange. Guess I'd better hurry.

 Re: Orange Pete

Travis, I respect you're building skills and talent, but this one just ain't doing it for me. The fenders look humongous and I really don't like the step the front bumper has. Maybe the fenders would look better if you extended the hood, and had that bumper tucked in and flush with the grille, but I think together, they are a bad combination.

I'm glad you don't mind the honesty. I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. Like they always say, it's your truck, and if you like it, that's what counts most!

 Re: Orange Pete

over all the fenders look great, but maybe a little to big?? the front bumper looks a little out of place.

 Re: Orange Pete

She might have a porch but I think it looks good - the lines flow nicely and the proportions of the wheels cutouts and bumper all marry nicely.
BTW - nice short wheelbase! That tranny is tucked in nice and tight! |

 Re: Orange Pete

I like it!... It is beefy, but if the rig stays a bare bones type, the beefyness helps it be bad a$$.... kinda like a big, fat, bare bones harley is bad a$$. I say keep the fenders and bumper.. I can picture Stalone working out in it driving to an armwrestleing match....

 Re: Orange Pete

the fenders sort of remind me of the old round fender autocars with the square checkerplate bumpers that would stick out with the pto in front i think that would look better with the fenders that huge one you have on there is more for show ,with the tires looks like it should be moving houses on those huge dollys
