If we're talking about an excavator here, Master is the valve channel, Slave is the pump. Throttle = boom, aileron = bucket, eleveron = stick, gear or 3 = pump. I assume you'll be using Aux1 & Aux2 for tracks. Then there's getting the +100 & -100 values in the right order, depending on how you wired the esc to the pump. Mix 1 throttle/pump, Mix 2 aileron/pump, Mix 3 eleveron/pump

Whatever, everything above still applies, except throttle will be for/rev motion & it'll be rudder for steering, so rudder/gear or aux? (I'd put it on gear myself). You'll need to put a speed control on your pump, can't work without it. And if you do use gear switch, the values for throw are -100 on one side of switch & +100 on other side. Once you figure out which side of gear switch makes pump pressure (pump turning correct rotation), the side of the switch that should be off needs EPA set to 0 so pump turns off.

Does the radio need to be set on plane or heli mode

Re: Dx8 channel mixing help

It is probably easier for it to be setup as a plane...

The swash plate setup on the heli may make things harder.

Re: Dx8 channel mixing help

Here is how I have my 966 setup:
- channel input config: pump channel - inh (removes it from any switch)
- Programmable mixes:
1. On > pump channel, rate: 100/100, offset 0, switch on (this sets zero to -100)
2. Source/input channel > pump channel, rate: -100/100, offset 0, trim inh, Switch on
(For each hydraulic valve you repeat point 2)...

I suspect the -100/100 though is the key.

Cheers,
Ap
