Re: Poor straight line steering control

I had the same thing with my Scania when I built that, with it all built per instructions it wandered all over the place as soon as I hit a bump. I ended up moving the servo for a direct linkage and...

Re: Rc4wd down shift trans ?

Hey mate, I'm running the version of this trans that has the planetary reduction built in. It's pretty much the same base as this and they bolt a 4:1 reduction on the front. They're a really good...

				Re: Driven front axel

I used a TLT in the front of my Scania to make it 6 wheel drive. I ended up buying a new 2 speed trans with transfer built in as I also wanted to slow the truck down quite a bit, and the stock tamiya...

Re: 4wd single axle tractor rear axle question

Easiest way would be to just grab the stock parts from one of the Tamiya single rear axle trucks like the Scania R470 or the Man or Mercedes singles. Get the leaf hangers from somewhere like ebay and...

Re: Interested in starting my Rc trucking career

I've only recently bought my first kit, got the Scania from Tamiya, and would recommend getting a kit like theirs.
There are so many options and parts available it's hard to know what you want or...

				Re: Rigid RC Service

That's excellent. I've looked at their website a lot and wanted to buy some things. Half the issue of being in Aus is sourcing parts. You buy something, takes the seller a week to post and 2 weeks to...

This particular one has several outputs,...

				Re: locked differentials

Awesome thanks for the info. I've got thick bearing grease in the axles but I think I'll lock my rear rear.
I also think I should change the tires asap as well, the standards are pretty miserable...
