Re: Front driven axle

Not to forget the tires....To have the proper tires makes also a big difference. I will say the 'Hauler' serices of tires from RC4WD is the best I've tested..softer than most other tires out there....

Re: RC4WD 4200XL models and nomenclature?

Everyone can do mistakes, but would expect Premacon to deal with the matter with the cab in a bit more 'smooth' way once the mistake was discovered..) With 1 year delivery time, it might just tells...

Re: Eagle 4200XL excavator - track motors upgrade kit (updated 26'th April 2016)

Hi
Looked into it earlier on in the spring, did conclude that my motors for the 4200XL was not particular suitable for a bolt-on solution for the KAT, so kind of put it away a bit, while searching...

Re: Final checklist?

I suggest to use more time studying building threads of similar sized loaders at the web before buying too much stuff. Problem 1 is often one does not get enough power on the wheels at first try, or...

Re: 4200xl how experienced do you need to be?

Most people getting into RC construction have some experience with RC models in the past, like putting together e.g 1:10 car kits, knowledge about batteries, electric motors, ESC, radios and servos....

Re: 1250$ 1/12 Scale RC Hydraulic Loader METAL and RTR

Re: 1250$ 1/12 Scale RC Hydraulic Loader METAL and RTR

Re: RC4WD 4200XL models and nomenclature?

Sad to hear about the troubles someone experiences with the equipment. I guess one can state that RC4WD is more of a pure 'forwarder' of deals/money between the customer and the fabricator, Eagle....

Re: RC4WD 4200XL models and nomenclature?

Slow movement is likely due to air in the system. Too low oil level in the tank. I don't have a quick, good 'non messy' way of emptying the system for air, but maybe others have? Theoretically the...

Re: RC4WD CVT

Lesu axles are 1:3.09, Tamiya standard is 1:2.7 Many consider the Lesu axles as top of the line when it comes to 1:Tamiya scale, great for construction/offroad/heavy haul

Re: Need help with gear ratios

Just a couple of comments here; the rpm of the excavator swing of the 1:1 version and any scale model of it, will be equal. Joe's machine turns about 6-7 rpm, which is normal for a 50 ton + digger....
