I was think of going to a small gauge wire, but like you said the model is big enough. I managed to get the wiring i have without having alot of resistance from smaller wire.

Here i added some brass tubes to slide the tracks to put tension on the tracks.

That is awsome! I might end up using that technique to lift a bed of a 1/50 dump truck, when i get around to it.

I did find a gearmotor that is 6mm in dia. and a 7mm tube that the gearmotor will...

Ok spent the day looking for micro linear ball drive motors, but they only sell to manufacturing companies, so im out of luck. Time to build my own!
