Sounds like a problem with the sound system hookup. Does the onboard LED light up?
The ESC signals are basically 'pass thru' going from RX thru the Sound Board into the ESC. Retrace all of your RX...

Live Steam close to these trucks is in 13.7 scale. Mostly small narrow gauge steam engines to run on the popular LGB 45mm wide track.

Nice Dolly! I'd suggest moving the 5th wheel hitch forward to get the 5th wheel pin centered over the suspension on the dolly, to get a level ride with no porpoising.

I'm also building up an off road construction semi and found the following Utubes useful;
For spacing out the springs on TLT or F350 front axle;all the parts come from an included kit parts sprue....

I'm using the F350 axle on my build. It's a bit wider than the TLT axles, but same gear ratio.
