You're NOT paying any duties... it's your own hst (prov/federal) sales tax that you're being charged. Usually if the amount is less than $50 they don't bother collecting. I've always paid my 5%pst &...

Depending on the total value of parcel, you may or may not be charged your pst & gst... BC has a hst of what %?
