I'm leery of using hooks on these trucks to pull them out of a stuck situation - probably yank a plastic bumper or fender right off the truck!

I use ballpoint pen springs cut down in length a bit.
Attach to bottom plate with a dab of epoxy.

What is being used nowadays for powered steer axles?
Still using 1/10 size (wide) TLT/F350/Clodbuster axles, or are there narrower 1/14 power steer axles out there.

And what about Transfer Cases?...

How do you guys transport your trucks and trailers, like say to Indianapolis?
Just let them roll around loose in the car trunk? Wrap them in blankets?

While the trailer steer axle has enough caster on it to make it self-turning, like fuzzy says the axle AND probably the tierod needs to be cut out to clear the...

I'd like to put a steer type lift axle forward of the tandems in my next build project.
How can I do this and clear the driveshaft?
I've currently got a Reefer trailer steer axle to work with......

Yeah, but when you lower the trailer suspension that makes the tractor end WAY too high...
So then you lower the tractor suspension and then the 5th wheel isn't tall enough to clear the tires... ...

I've had that happen to me with United Parcel, and it turns out they delivered to the wrong address. Luckily the recipient lived down the block and returned it to me. Check with your neighbors.
