It may be as simple as a little over filling.

Oil does heat up in any hydraulic system and will expand as your pump works.

Try draining or syphoning a little oil out and then run it.

It's actually a 3mm grub screw but 4mm won't do any harm as it may give a little extra thread length for your thread lock to bind to.

The full spec is "M3 x 3mm DIN916 socket set grub screw plain...
