Thanks very much. It was really great to get both boats on the water together while my buddy was here. The blue one has gone home with him now, far away from the coast so I doubt it will ever happen...

I use a scroll saw to cut out the windows and then file them straight if need be. The wheelhouse-etc on the Blue Bayou is .050, Jackfish is .063 everywhere.

I haven't had much time for this in the last few days but I did get some stuff done. I got part of the railing on the stern done and welded up the mast. I also just finished machining the pole...

I did some work to the wheelhouse this afternoon...I bought a small sheet of 0.50 aluminum for this.

Thanks. I didn't think I would be able to get the right shape out of it with metal. The real boat is pretty round bellied with no hard lines so it would be hard to copy.
