Re: LilGiantsConstrCO

Great! Hows the assembly? Did you have him paint it or did you? I'm eager to see it work. Everything I've seen of them is fantastic!

Re: LilGiantsConstrCO

Joe, I plan on getting this exact model when money allows...truth be told, I was going to order the 490 and the 45 if my loader ever sold. I'll keep an eye on these two. I noticed you've already...

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

I'm excited to see you finally building the 4206. I'd still love to build what we talked about in St. Louis. Hope it goes together well and speedy, I'm anxious to see it operating.

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

I hung it off the top of my bucket through the "eyes". I can take it off easy, has PMD hooks on the ends.

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

If you hang a (tamiya) chain over the opening of the bucket in wet/damp soil, it will help with the sticking. Make sure it goes to the back of the bucket.

Well dang it Joe. Hopefully I'll get to play with it in person in the future then.

How's the 963 doing? Any problems? Nice big ole' pile of dirt you've worked up.

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

Joe they do break easy to if you hit them. They get hairline cracks and start seeping. Just be cautious.

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

Nice Joe, you moved a bunch of dirt, I'm sure you're being cautious around your cast iron sewer. That would be rough if it let go, you'd be doing logging :) instead of hauling dirt:(.

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

Joe, How is the other nameless project coming along you hinted at and we talked about in St. Louis? I was hoping the manufacture was going to build what we discussed so I could have it in less time...

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

Nice updates Joe. I will agree with you on the bucket width of the 963, it does need to be wider for sure. I wish I had somewhere to log the hours on my equipment like you do.

Re: Hauling Dirt out of my basement (present day)

I had been wondering if it was possible with the RC version to move the undercarriage and assist with the boom, stick and swing like when on the 1:1. I figured it wouldn't be easy since you use your...

The 850 looks like it's doing great. Have you posted any video of it yet? I can remember seeing any. Bet it's a treat to operate.
