Just as a suggestion, you might consider foil tape that is used to seal airconditiong duct. It can be found in any hardware store...Be sure to have a near perfect base because it is thin and will...

Cat D7E and 435 scraper are done..

I just got done with a 1966 D7E and a 435 Cat scraper..The tractor is cast in urethane resin from my own moulds and the scraper is scratch built from wood and Renshape..They are in 1/24 scale..

it is about 22 inches long...It has been a long drawn out project...My customer requested it about 3 years ago..The line drawings I had from a Euclid brochure were so inaccurate that...

I found that any metal cable I could find was too stiff..., so I used a really strong cord..Similar to string line that building contractors use in the carpentry industry..The spray...

You are about 1/2 the size of my D8 which is in 1/7..I had thought about making something in about 1/14 or 1/2 but needed to know what type of motors you were using..

The CCM 666 is a very impressive model...Not sure about the hoses on the gooseneck...I will have to find a photo of the real thing to compare...

The CCM D9H release was returned to the manufacturer, first for re-work, and I hear that later was totally refused..Another manufacturer is reportedly starting...

I will have to take a photo of what I grew up with back in the 1950s...Not long ago I finished a 1941 D8 pulling a 1937 LeTourneau J-12 scraper...also in 1/24 scale..Good grief, am I...
